All recipes are gluten free. Ingredients used in this class will include fish, shellfish, eggs, soy, dairy, sesame, and tree nuts. This is not an allergen-free environment.

German Comfort Food

Join Sierra for a hands-on class celebrating German-from-Russia comfort food, still commonly made in home kitchens across the Midwest. The menu features recipes passed down through Sierra’s own family, and together we’ll prepare a few classic dishes that come together for a complete meal.

We’ll make Knoephla Soup, Fleischkuechle, and a traditional kuchen—think tender dumplings, savory meat-filled pastries, and rich custard. This class will get your hands working with dough while filling the kitchen with the comforting flavors of these heritage recipes. You’ll leave with recipes to recreate and share with your friends and family.
